My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Cyber Security Lead on a Permanent basis.
This role will set and manage an appropriate cyber security stance for Council and lead on cyber security approaches, education, and awareness.
About the role:
Based in Greater London (Hybrid):
- Support the council's strategy of continuous service improvement to ensure delivery of its priorities and value to residents
- Contribute to the council's strategic objectives by working with colleagues to build a strong and shared approach to service delivery including the support of service improvement plans with a focus on value for money
- Actively contribute to the integrated delivery, improvement, and performance of the service. Help to ensure overall objectives are translated into effective plans and that the service is efficient and locally responsive
- Support the Enterprise Architect in the implementation and management of an effective cyber security function, supporting the identification of potential risks and issues and applying fixes to mitigate these
About you: You will have the following experiences:
- 5 years experience within an ICT security or Technical ICT environment.
- Experience of supporting the implementation of technology solutions that are compliant to security standards or to defined security codes of connection such as GCSx or PSN.
- xperience of maintaining adequate security standards across on[1]premise, cloud or hybrid infrastructures
- Local Government experience is desired for this role.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £44,428-£49,498 plus market supplement of £10k
