Database Developer - Oracle PL/SQL Hybrid Working: 3 Days in Office per week (2 days WFH) Flexible Hours - Can do 8-4, 8:30-4:30, 9-5 up to £55,000 + Benefits (incl. Life Assurance)

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and maintaining database applications and a solid drive to create efficient and reliable solutions. The database tech stack here is predominantly Oracle PL/SQL but some SQL Server T-SQL.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain database applications using Oracle PL/SQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and architect solutions
- Optimise database queries and code for performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly
- Ensure data security and integrity within the applications
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database application development
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Oracle PL/SQL development
- Proficiency with database design and optimisation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology is a plus
Day-to-Day
- Collaborating with team members to gather and understand application requirements
- Writing and optimising PL/SQL code for various database functions
- Testing and debugging applications to ensure functionality and performance
- Communicating with stakeholders to gather feedback and implement changes
- Researching and implementing best practices for database application development
