This is a new and exciting opportunity to join the Internal Communications & Colleague Engagement team of a growing financial services organisation on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract, to assist with the development and delivery of the strategic communications plan for the organisation's transformation programme.
Your new role
You will use your judgement and experience to identify areas for developing communications activity, considering solutions and providing advice to support effective communication. You will be responsible for delivering objectives and meeting deadlines for communication and stakeholder engagement across all projects, within timescale and resources, and you will use appropriate evaluation tools to demonstrate the effectiveness of the devised strategies and plans. You will lead and support events related to your own work stream, or the work of other partners. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to create and deliver a forward schedule of events and campaigns to enhance colleague experience and to contribute to the development of the organisation's Employer Value Proposition. You will also be able to create quality, engaging and compelling multimedia content that enables the organisation to deliver integrated, impactful and informative engagement activities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a communications role, with a particular interest in colleague engagement activities. You will have experience of effectively managing multiple projects, campaigns and initiatives simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality. You will have extensive knowledge of designing and delivering communications for transformation programmes and have demonstrable experience of creating and administering Sharepoint intranet sites, as well as knowledge and creativity in the use of digital channels. Excellent oral and written skills are required, including copywriting, proofreading and editing skills to simplify complex subjects.
What you'll get in return
