We are looking for Full stack developer, to join a team of 5 with plans to expand later in the year. The team is tasked with maintaining existing applications, designing and implementing new platforms, and transforming the current tech stack to a modernized target stack. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years and aims to continue this trajectory. Modernizing the environment, tools, and techniques, along with adopting new frameworks, is essential to meet business demands. This includes developing new applications, enhancing existing ones, and leveraging Microservices and API frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop full stack web applications, including microservices.
- Plan and execute the transition to agile development methodologies, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize performance and build robust, intelligent solutions that meet and exceed business requirements.
- Engage in all phases of development, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, design, implement, test, and release to production.
- Work with the Architecture team to document and transition existing platforms to the target tech stack and framework.
Requirements:
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and think laterally.
- Ability to engage with business stakeholders, communicate effectively in plain English, elicit requirements, and document them accurately.
- Preferably experienced in Financial or Professional services, but insurance training will be provided if necessary.
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms and continuous integration practices.
- Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Ensuring designs comply with specifications and architectural frameworks and principles
