Role: Family Solicitor
Location: Shrewsbury, Telford, Ludlow
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000
We at Simpson Judge, are working with a well established rural law firm with multiple offices. They are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated lawyer to join their Family department, with the option to work from either the Shrewsbury, Telford, or Ludlow office. As a key member of the team, you'll manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, finance, and private law children, while also supporting the growth of our department and firm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload using our case management system
- Advise on family matters, drafting legal documents and court applications
-Provide exceptional client care and build strong relationships with new and existing clients
-Work collaboratively with the team and wider firm to meet deadlines and achieve goals
Essential Skills:
-Highly organised with attention to detail
-Proficient in MS Office applications and case management systems like ALB
-Ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines
-Strong internal and external communication skills
-Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuing professional development
-Positive attitude and strong work ethic
