Description
- Overseeing the accounts payable process and ensuring accurate payments.
- Reviewing invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Maintaining vendor files and updating payment records.
- Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments.
- Performing monthly reconciliations.
- Assisting in month end closing and financial audits.
- Providing supporting documentation for audits.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of the accounts payable process.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
