My Client is seeking a Technical Support Representative with a deep technical expertise in Fire and Life Safety systems and devices globally.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert Verbal and written technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders on all Fire and Life Safety product issues.
- Serve as the first point of contact for stakeholders via phone, email, or business applications.
- Generate accurate reports, capturing all field-related issues and input findings onto the Quality System for review and resolution.
- Maintain accurate logs of technical interactions for comprehensive KPI reporting.
- Investigate and source information to meet stakeholder expectations promptly.
- Replicate reported faults, by customers, to enable scenario-based investigation of cause and effect on existing and new products,
- Collaborate with the Sales department on product application and system design.
- Deliver comprehensive training to stakeholders, including recreating product faults and conducting technical tests.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the Life Safety industry or similar (e.g., Customer Support or Engineering).
- Understanding in any of the following or similar, would be advantageous: Signalling devices, Fire Detection Systems, Voice communication systems, Emergency lighting, CCTV Systems, Security and intruder alarm Systems etc
- Extensive knowledge of regional life safety systems, with a proven track record in servicing and commissioning.
- Familiarity with standards such as BS5839-pt1, BS5839-8, BS5839-9, and EN-54.
