We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supply team, specifically within primary school settings across the Doncaster area. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about contributing to the development and education of young children and is looking for a new, fresh, way of working.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support primary school teachers in delivering educational activities and lessons.
  • Assist with classroom preparation, including setting up resources and materials for lessons.
  • Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce new learning and support academic and social development.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a constructive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and participate in discussions about student development.
  • Engage with a range of educational activities, adapting to the needs of different year groups within the primary setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be at least Level 2 qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within primary education.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with young children.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different classrooms and teaching styles.
  • A collaborative spirit, able to work well with teachers and other educational staff.
