Owing to significant growth one of our leading legal clients are seeking a highly skilled and experienced New Build Property Lawyer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of new build property matters, including sales and purchases, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of new build property matters from inception through to conclusion
- Maintain efficient systems to ensure all deadlines are met
- Demonstrate excellent client care and communicate complex legal matters in commercial
astute format
- Build lasting working relationships with clients and house builder referrers
- Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders
- Develop professional relationships with potential sources of work
- Generate fee income in line with agreed targets
- Manage, supervise, train, and develop support staff
- Play an active role in the team's business development activities and budgets to
continue the growth of New Build work
About the Person:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following attributes, skills, and experience:
- Previous experience working on New Build purchase and sale matters
- Hold a relevant qualification
- Commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care
- Commercially astute with an understanding of business targets and their impact on the
practice
- Experience in managing, supervising, training, and developing support staff
- Thorough working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures
- Organized and process-driven
- IT literate with experience using a web-based case management system
