Your new role
This organisation is currently establishing a new scheme and requires a Senior Supplier Relationship Manager to lead the Supplier Relationship Management function. The successful candidate will lead and establish the infrastructure required to ensure all supplier relationships are effectively managed in the collection of money of significant value in producer fees and the administration of that money in the form of grant payments to 440 local authorities across the UK.
- Establish excellent relationships with the strategic partners, monitoring and supporting them in ensuring that all requirements are fulfilled and levels of service set out in contractual agreements are delivered.
- Lead the team that will be the first point of contact for all contractual and supplier management issues across the Directorate.
- Establish mechanisms for capturing and reviewing Management Information, to include Suppliers service performance; KPIs, Milestones and Service Credits.
- Manage key relationships with all stakeholders who are party to the contracts of strategic suppliers.
- Making strategic recommendations based on actual performance data to drive out effective delivery from all suppliers.
- Responsible for the mobilisation and management of the Supplier contract (due to be awarded in December 2024) ready for the launch of the in October 2025.
What you'll need to succeed
- Must be able to demonstrate strong experience with significant contract value where they have been in excess of 100's M +.
- Hold extensive relationship management and contract management experiences in past roles, where this was your core responsibility.
- Be able to act as an expert to come in and set up the infrastructure around the supplier management to ensure the successful delivery of the scheme to make sure everything is in place.
- Be able to commute to Bristol when required.
