I have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Test Service Manager with experience in the London Market Insurance sector to become a part of our clients Release & Test team. We are currently investing in a major transformation of our clients IT infrastructure within their Global Corporate Speciality Market, and this role is pivotal in shaping and executing the Test Strategy.
**Job Description:**As the Test Service Manager for London Markets, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the test team and instilling a 'quality first' mindset for testing, overseeing the delivery of testing outcomes across London Markets. You will need to comprehend the risk landscape for this Market to facilitate prompt test risk mitigations.
- Championing continuous improvements, you will be responsible for establishing the testing metrics to drive optimisation, efficiency, automation, and quality enhancements to ensure customer outcomes are met. Decisions will be made based on a thorough analysis of data.
- Demonstrating robust collaboration skills with a track record of working with senior Business & IT leaders. You should be able to show that you are an inspiring leader of a combined team of permanent and partner capability delivering quality outcomes.
- Providing prompt and clear stakeholder communications, reporting progress and risks to the Head of Platform, IT Business Partner, Head of Release & Test, Business SME, and Product Owners.
This role is based in London.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Essential experience in London Market Insurance and understanding of Lloyds Blueprint 2 programme, including the various messaging and common data standards.
- London Markets insurance qualifications: Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) / London Markets Insurance Essentials (LM1) / London Markets Insurance principles and practices (LM2)
- Experience in implementing and maintaining test frameworks, data strategies and test automation roadmaps for both senior stakeholders and technical audiences.
- Ability to engage with and manage suppliers across a complex environment, defining and implementing test processes across multiple projects. Experience of mentoring and coaching both permanent and partner team members.
- Ability to establish positive stakeholder relationships by adopting a consultative approach and advanced understanding of test measurement and reporting.
