The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Civil Engineer to join a leading tier-one defence client, to be based out of Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth.
Job Overview:
To assist the Discipline Lead in the delivery of the structural engineering work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule, and cost.

To assist the Discipline Lead in the delivery of the structural engineering work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule, and cost.
Responsible for managing the technical deliverables of the structural engineering packages in line with the planned deliverables agreed by the Discipline Lead. The candidate requires prior knowledge of the principles of seismic engineering or a background in the design of nuclear-safety classified structures.
What do you need to succeed?
Design and substantiation of heavy civil engineering and building structures to relevant seismic codes for satisfying Nuclear Safety Functions, particular experience in steel structures preferred
Knowledge of substantiation of industrial buildings
Knowledge of building services design and installation
Sound understanding of engineering design and safety practice as relevant to discipline, post, and project requirements
Must be SC cleared
