Key Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of clinical negligence files, including:
- Conducting witness interviews
- Preparing witness statements
- Engaging experts
- Instructing counsel
- Attending court proceedings and negotiations
- Conducting conferences with Counsel
- Preparing for and attending trials and mediations
Additional Duties:
- Providing cover for secondments
- Assisting colleagues with higher value claims
- Drafting articles for clients
- Delivering client training and presentations
What We Seek:
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
- Experience in defendant clinical negligence at a firm handling medical malpractice cases for insurer clients
- Understanding of clients' needs and expectations
- Adherence to guidelines, client protocols, and KPIs
- Proactive and pragmatic approach with an emphasis on quality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
