Currently seeking an Electronics Systems Design Engineer this exciting role represents a great opportunity to join the team. This role focuses on electronic system design and development of new imaging and sighting systems for Aerospace & Defence You will be working with colleagues across the business including product management and business development to support new commercial opportunities as well as operations, supporting technology transfer to manufacture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, support, and work within Health & Safety regulations, Company Quality and Environmental systems of work, and all other Company policies and procedures.
- Working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with customers, colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.

- Assist development of electronic solutions for a range of electro-optical products utilising FPGA, digital and analogue electronic hardware and software.
- Provide electronic systems engineering inputs from concept to manufacture and test
- Assist with requirements capture and specification definition, sensitivity analysis, reliability analysis as required
- Interfacing with and managing output from sub-contractors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree level in Electrical and/or Electronics engineering, 2:1 or better
- At least 4+ years' experience
- Demonstrable knowledge in digital and analogue signal processing, and video processing.
- Analogue electronics design experience
- Schematic capture and layout
- Create and maintain technical documentation that supports the product development process including product specifications, manuals and end user instructions
- Ability to create and give presentations to customers and partners
- Knowledge or experience of the full design lifecycle, including taking designs from initial negotiations through requirements capture, sub-system design, hardware design and test to final integration.
- Firmware development experience, C, (C++, C#, Python advantageous)
