A balustrade manufacturer catering to the domestic and commercial industries across the UK are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Team leader (Construction, Building Merchants) to join a dynamic and fast-paced team that will be responsible for developing the sales
team and driving sales.
This position is well suited for a technical or mechanical qualified Team leader with experience managing sales teams selling products to the construction and related building sectors. industries.
Sales Team leader (Construction, Building Merchants) - Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the sales team to become more efficient in qualifying and
managing the sales leads.
- Recruiting and training of internal sales consultants and monitoring sales against
sales targets.
- Analyse the existing sales processes and procedures and provide guidance
to the internal sales team to increase sales.
- Identifying marketing trends, opportunities, and reporting these to the marketing
department to develop new strategies.
- Improve relationships with current partners and identify new partners and sales
channels.
Experience and Personal Qualities Required - Sales Team leader (Construction, Building Merchants):
- Experience in technical sales management selling into the construction,
building merchant, home building or similar industries.
- Experience in developing sales teams in dealing with sales leads effectively.
- Strong sales and customer service skills are required.
- Proven track record for increasing sales, identifying and creating new sales channels
and managing internal sales teams.
- Confident phone manner and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage
workloads efficiently.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software including all Microsoft programmes.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
The Package:
Full-time office based
Hours of work 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
