Residential Childcare Trainer

£28,000 - £32,000 (Depending on qualifications)

Essential Criteria:
- Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
- Hold solid occupational experience at Support Worker level or above within a Children's Home.
- Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare (ideally to Level 5, but not essential)
- Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
- Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
- Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
