About the Business
Our client is a rapidly growing boutique consultancy business seeking a dedicated Financial Systems Accountant to join their team. As a key member, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operational support for their clients' finance system implementation, focusing predominantly on Workday. The business has grown 20%, year on year for the last 3 years and is about to significantly grow further with significant new client wins both in the UK and abroad; this is a really exciting time to join a fantastic expanding company with a phenomenal culture.
Responsibilities
- Work within a dynamic team dedicated to managing finance system configurations and optimisations within businesses across all industries, sectors across the UK & abroad.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for finance system users.
- Build relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders within the businesses that you're consulting.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand requirements and challenges.
- Support the delivery of configuration changes and review new system features.
- Participate in and manage finance system implementation-related projects.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ERP system administration, configuration, and/ or optimisation.
- Familiarity with ERP finance project processes.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and business processes.
- Experience in an ERP finance system support / "super user" role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working within a finance team within a business; understanding of the challenges faced and the benefits a efficient ERP system can bring
- Technical background covering multiple technologies, with a quick ability to learn new areas.
