Accounts Payable Officer - Interim

An Accounts Payable Officer is required for a temporary role in a Housing Association. The position will be to support with a backlog in a supportive and positive team!

Client Details

This organisation is a well-established housing association based in central London.

Description

  • Processing and recording of accounts payable transactions.
  • Maintaining supplier files and responding to vendor inquiries.
  • Performing reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers.
  • Working closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Supporting in the development of financial policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in OPEN ACCOUNTS and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
