Technical Project Manager - Ecommerce

We are searching for a pro-active Technical Project Manager to join a thriving integrated marketing agency; the successful candidate will work closely with new and retained clients on their eCommerce platforms/websites, in both a project and ongoing capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend and where appropriate lead weekly client meetings, understanding the full brief and requirements.
  • Translate project plans & client requests into JIRA tasks for the design and development team to scope/provide estimates of resource required.
  • Using estimates from internal teams, and eventually your own estimates, create quotes for requested work from clients.
  • Develop project plans and manage deliverables, schedules, budgets, scope creeps, etc, with consistent communication to relevant stakeholders throughout.
  • Use JIRA to input and manage tasks for the internal teams and the client, triaging reported issues (replicating these as evidence) and escalate to the developers where necessary.
  • Develop & propose roadmaps for existing clients for maintenance, upgrades, enhancements, content, etc.
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of the client's content management system to become the go-to contact for client queries, assisting with website population where appropriate to protect developer resource.
  • Test deployments, design, and functionality against agreed briefs before communicating with the client.
  • Ensure project invoices are sent out in line with business processes.
  • Contribute to pitches to win new client business.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' Technical Project Manager experience is essential.
  • Ecommerce Technical Project Management experience is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of e-commerce and lead generation websites (Magento, WordPress, Shopify)
  • Experience with project management software tools (Jira, Slack or similar)
  • Confidence in producing and presenting relevant information for both sales meetings and existing client reviews.
  • UK resident with unrestricted rights to work in the UK.
