Would you like to work for a Privately Owned Medical business based in Warrington? The Finance Manager is a key hire and we are looking to speak to candidates that want to play a key part in the running of the engine room of the finance team ensuring all finance activity is managed efficiently.
Role Requirements;
- Take full responsibility for all the company's finance and accounting activities including the
production of the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and supporting commentary.
- Produce accessible management information and high-quality board reports, supported by clear
and effective KPIs which give insightful information at a granular level to enhance decision making.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process to support the short-, medium- and long-term
- Take a proactive approach to treasury and cash management, understanding the way cash moves
through the business .
- Conduct a full review of the current finance systems, controls, and processes, implement the
required robust and scalable automation to match the company's growth aspirations and will
underpin the next phase of growth.
- Mentor and develop a small finance team to ensure they are producing timely and insightful
management information.
- Working cross-functionally to optimise performance and efficiencies.
- Influence activity by developing insightful data and producing financial models to ensure the
business has clear visibility on expenditure and ROI.
- Drive cost saving initiatives which positively impact the bottom line
Candidate Specification;
- Qualified Accountant with experience preferably in an SME environment
- A natural leader, having successfully built and mentored a small finance team
- Be data driven with demonstrable strong reporting experience
- Previous experience of implementing and streamlining systems, processes and controls
- A curious and inquisitive mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas to the business
