General Foreperson

I am looking for an experienced General Foreperson to work in the West Sussex Area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

  • Role: General Foreperson
  • Location: West Sussex
  • Contract: Freelance
  • Rate: £370 per day
  • When: ASAP

Duties will include:

  • Ensure all works are undertaken with due regard to the needs of the local population
  • Ensure realistic scheme programmes are prepared, reviewed and updated
  • Ensure that your water project is properly planned, programmed and resourced to achieve safe, profitable and timely delivery.
  • Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to all the contractual water requirements.
  • Actively support the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute
  • Work to method statements and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance to all HS&E policies and procedures

Skills Required:

  • ONC or HNC in a construction discipline
  • SMSTS/SSSTS
  • First Aid
  • Preferably confine space trained
  • Experience within the water treatment industry (Non-Infrastructure)
