We are excited to announce an opportunity for an ACCA/ACA qualified Manager to join a dynamic, modern, and relaxed accountancy firm based in Southend-On-Sea. This firm boasts an impressive and diverse client base across various industries.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a qualified professional to bridge the gap between the partners and the accounts production team.
In this role, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients, prepare accounts, and mentor junior team members. You will also play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the team and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of Financial Statements, CT600s, VAT Returns, and Tax Returns.
- Overseeing and managing staff, including assigning and reviewing tasks while providing guidance and support.
- Registering clients for VAT and Self-Assessment, and offering tailored advice on bookkeeping methods.
- Utilising a range of accounting software, including Sage 50 Cloud Accounts and other online platforms.
- Managing client relationships, ensuring their queries are addressed and bookkeeping needs are met.
- Ensuring that administrative tasks and deadlines are managed effectively by all staff members.
- Monitoring job profitability, reviewing time budgets, and handling other related administrative tasks.
