Location - Folkestone - Hybrid Working available

Salary - Up to £37,000 DOE

Permanent - Full Time

Overview of the role of Digital PR Manager

We are seeking an experienced Digital PR Manager to join our team and lead our PR efforts across various digital channels. In this role, you will develop and execute digital PR strategies to enhance our clients' online visibility and reputation. You'll collaborate closely with our teams, aligning with organic social media and content activities, and working with our SEO, Paid, and Account Management teams to create cohesive campaigns that deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities for the role of Digital PR Manager

  • Create and execute digital PR strategies to meet client objectives and KPIs
  • Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets
  • Produce and distribute engaging press releases, articles, and other PR materials
  • Track media coverage on articles, link acquisitions and evaluate PR campaign effectiveness
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in digital PR and online reputation management
  • Educate the wider team on PR best practices, techniques, and innovation
  • Assist in creating sales collateral and attend pitches for PR-related sales as needed
  • Communicate with clients about best practice PR activities, including presenting ideas, evaluating results, and addressing inquiries

Personal Specification for the role of Digital PR Manager

  • Must have experience as a Digital PR Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of tangible results - including link acquisition and high-quality media coverage
  • Strong understanding of Digital Marketing, SEO (on-page and off-page), and social media, and how these play their part in Digital PR-Link building campaigns
  • Track record and ability to build relationships with media and in?uencers - ideally with a strong existing contact book
  • Experience in creating and executing successful Digital PR campaigns - both for link acquisition and creative brand communications
  • Experience in conducting original research for PR purposes, including conducting interviews, surveys, data/stat ?nding, newsjacking
  • Strong storytelling abilities - able to spin a strong hook from any material
  • Pro?ciency in using PR and media monitoring tools - such as Prowly, Cision, Buzzsumo and BuzzStream
  • Have strong analytical skills - can interpret data and provide actionable insights, ideally with a working knowledge of tools such as SEMrush, GA4, Search Console, and Ahrefs
  • Understanding of link pro?le management and building aligned performance strategies around this
  • Be con?dent in building new relationships with relevant media outlets/press network
  • Will be comfortable with full campaign output - from planning (campaign ideation, sign-o, planning, media list sourcing, press release prep, etc.) to execution (media outreach and management, link acquisition, reporting, client comms, etc.)
  • Be an effective copywriter and experienced press release writer
  • Possess commercial awareness, comfortable pitching to clients/supporting sales documentation
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex concepts clearly and effectively
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities without missing a beat essential
