About The Role:
Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Contract Manager (Soft Services) to join our team in Cambridge. This is aligned to our prestigious contract with the University of Cambridge.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing day-to-day client support requests, acting as a first point of contact for issues, incidents, and service queries, and raising initial investigations with Ops teams and stake holders where necessary.
- Understanding contractual commitments and support the Contract manager in ensuring compliance to these commitments.
- Liaising with the Duty Managers on the contract to ensure operational objectives are met, understanding SLA agreements and monitoring performance.
- Providing support for contract manager, which will involve but not be limited to completing training, completing audits, attending stakeholder meetings, supporting the frontline operation
- Drive service consistency between all campuses, to deliver a high quality cleaning service across the portfolio, whilst fully understanding and recognising bespoke requirements
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with Site and Building Managers, ensuring that their expectations and requirements are met or exceeded
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures, reporting and investigating any incidents or accidents as required

- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to operate and build credibility at a senior level with key stakeholders.
- Confidence and resilience to handle situations of conflict.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Experience working to SLA agreements in line with the client's requirements.
- Flexible working attitude to accommodate the contract requirements and changing business needs.
