Location: Witham

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8.25am to 4.55pm, and Friday, 8.25am to 3.25pm, with a one-hour lunch break

Salary: £25K (Depending on experience)

Our client is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their dynamic Production Team. With a rich heritage spanning over 170 years, our client takes pride in creating beautiful products that grace some of the finest buildings globally. As their business continues to grow, they are looking for a talented individual to support their purchasing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Purchasing Manager with general administration duties.
  • Collaborate with the Production Data Manager to provide administrative support.
  • Generate reports to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager with raw material stock purchases.
  • Liaise with Production Team Leaders and Stores Managers to manage material use and stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Experience with ERP systems is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
