Job Title: Service Support Supervisor

Summary

We are looking for a Service Support Supervisor to manage and oversee all service aspects, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures. This is a permanent position, with a starting salary of £34,000, rising to £37,000 upon completion of the probationary period.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all assigned sites, staff, and vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Company/Group policies.
  • Inductions & Training: Deliver staff inductions for new hires.
  • HR Functions: Perform HR functions as needed by the business, including investigations into workmanship, quality, accidents, and incidents.
  • Site Efficiency: Ensure your presence on-site adds value by saving costs, improving efficiencies, or ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation or policy.
  • Audits: Conduct audits at each allocated location/mobile resource according to Group Operations arrangements, ensuring compliance with all Safe Systems of work. Audits must be carried out on the Service Management system.
  • Flexibility: Stay flexible and focused; site/staff responsibilities may change, and additional tasks within Group locations may be required at the discretion of your line manager or senior managers.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage your time according to business directives and report any workload issues to your Line Manager.
  • Customer Relations: Support building relationships and communication with customers, including attending JMR/Group H&S Audits/General meetings if relevant.
  • Partnership with Supervisors: Collaborate closely with site and mobile supervisors to ensure effective operations and compliance.
  • General Duties: Complete any other reasonable tasks within the purpose and spirit of the role.
  • Policy Compliance: Adhere to Company Policies and Group Management Systems.

Essential Requirements:

  • Full car driving licence.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Good timekeeping and communication skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Willingness to stay away from home when required.
  • Ability to quickly solve problems and react to unforeseen issues in the field.
  • Ability to mentor staff with an approachable and ethical attitude.
