A successful manufacturing SME based in Dungannon has an exciting opportunity for a purchasing professional/ buyer to join their team.
Hours are Mon-Thurs - 8am-5pm Fri - 8am-2pm (some flex)
Your new role
- Lead a small team of two purchasers
- Estimate and forecast future buying
- Monitor and report on key supplier performance
- Maintain and develop successful supplier relationships
- Develop and implement purchasing procedures
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure the smooth running of supply chain
- Continuously drive cost reduction
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a Buyer role ideally within manufacturing or engineering* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
