Ecologist

I am looking for an Ecologist to join a medium sized, multi-disciplinary company in the heart of Bristol. The company work on a range of projects in sectors including residential, commercial, education, public realm and conservation. There are a team of around 20 ecologists, environmental consultants and landscape architects who are available to assist in obtaining protected species licences if desired.

What You'll Do:
- Conduct ecological surveys and assessments.
- Assisting the wider team in undertaking habitat and protected species surveys.
- Analyze data and prepare reports.
- Develop and implement strategies for habitat restoration and conservation.
- Provide expert advice on biodiversity conservation and environmental management.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Strong fieldwork skills and experience with ecological survey techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
- Ideally Level 3 FISC qualified.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
