Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 (+bonus)

Location: Central London

Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office

A rare opportunity for an AR/Cash Management Assistant to join one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the world. A Fortune 500 company, they have offices in the majority of countries globally, employing over 50,000+ employees and looking after facilities, transactions, property, investment, and project management.

Main responsibilities and requirements:

  • Cash Management/AR assistant responsible for managing the cash allocations of multicurrency receipts across multicurrency bank accounts and investigating unallocated cash.
  • Allocation of monies received (including BACS/Chaps, cheques and cash) in multiple bank accounts, including EUR and USD, against invoices and cost codes. Averaging around 2500 payments across 4 bank accounts
  • Investigate unidentified receipts ensuring all cash is processed by month end deadlines
  • Processing monthly write offs including FX and bank charges
  • Investigation of legacy unallocated cash.
  • Liaising with clients, credit control and fee earners (within and outside of the country) for remittance advices and payment details
  • Moving cash between invoices and matching credit notes against invoices; arranging refunds of duplicate payments, overpayments and wrongly received cash
  • Maintaining the team mailbox confirming all queries are resolved in a timely manner
  • Experience of working in high volume transactions with a result driven mind-set
  • Good interpersonal & Communication skills with the ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority
  • Analytical & problem-solving approach
  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently, being both autonomous & a team player
  • Good IT Skills including Microsoft Excel - VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, formulas, etc

The successful candidate must have at least 2+ years previous experience in a similar AR finance role working within a fast-paced environment. You will be well organised with an analytical mind and be competent using Excel.
