Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced KS2 Teacher to join our dynamic team in September 2024. This is a full-time position that requires a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students in KS2.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to take risks and develop a growth mindset.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Utilise a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and contribute to the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in KS2.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high standards of behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
