Music Outreach Administrator

Salary: £17,820 per annum, plus benefits

Hours: Part time, 21 hours a week

Term: Permanent

We are currently seeking a Music Outreach Administrator to join our Music Department team.

As the Music Outreach Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Cathedral's Choral Partnerships outreach work by coordinating workshops in schools, helping to organise performances and events, assisting with programme publicity, monitoring finance and collating evaluation material for impact reporting and attending weekly rehearsals and performances of our after-school partner choirs, including occasional weekend events.

The successful applicant will have;

  • administration experience, preferably in the charitable or music industries
  • excellent IT skills, with sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • sound knowledge of good Safeguarding practice
  • availability to attend weekly, after-school choir rehearsals (currently Monday evenings only, in Hackney) and occasional performances/events on weekends
  • some familiarity with and appreciation of classical music

The successful applicant will also be expected to share in St Paul's Cathedral's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
