Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join our team on a long-term, full-time basis starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Spanish lessons to students across various age groups, promoting a love for the Spanish language and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Spanish lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Develop and implement engaging teaching strategies to stimulate student interest and learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proficiency in Spanish, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Previous experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
