About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Bargoed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in primary schools and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on students' learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist with planning and preparation of learning activities.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
- Supervise and support students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Must live locally or be able to commute easily to Bargoed.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools is essential.
- Ideally qualified with a CACHE Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting classroom activities.
- A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their development.
