Driver Foreman Apprentice
Hourly Rate - £12.44 per hour (plus benefits)
Hours - 39 hours per week, between 6.00am and 2.45pm, with overtime when required

As a Driver Foreman Apprentice, you will ensure the fleet and vehicles in Hull and East Riding are organised and effectively managed to service the Household Waste Recycling Centres for the contract.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week Thursday to Monday.

What will you be doing?
- Route planning
- Taking and receiving calls from drivers, third party disposal points and Household Waste recycling centres to ensure efficient servicing
- Responsibility for the implementation of the group health and safety policy in all vehicle and fleet related activities
- Taking responsibility for ensuring all vehicle checks are undertaken within the company policies and procedures. This will include daily walk around checks, vehicle defect reporting, daily defects nil returns
- Operate within current EU/UK driver's hours regulations which include adequate daily rest and maximum weekly driving time and complying with the Working Time Directive rules and regulations
- Taking responsibility for driving and operating trucks within an appropriate manner which include safe and secure loading practices, safe driving and drive within the current UK speed limits for Large Goods Vehicles
What are we looking for?
- An understanding of DVSA regulations in terms if vehicle safety, graduated fixed penalties and digital tachograph use
