Reed Financial Services is proud to be representing an ever-expanding nationwide firm seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to work closely with our Financial Planner, providing high-quality service and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will be committed to continuous personal development and will possess a strong understanding of the financial planning process.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Collaborate with the Financial Planner to discuss client objectives and assist Financial Services Administrators in gathering necessary information to compile comprehensive financial suitability reports.
  • Aid in identifying planning areas and sourcing solutions to meet client needs and objectives, including the preparation of tax calculations when necessary.
  • Ensure client information is collected and maintained in accordance with ‘know your client' principles and company policy.
  • Verify that all compliance documentation is accurate and complete when presenting suitability reports and recommendations.
  • Prepare suitability reports and recommendations for approval by the Financial Planner, adhering to company policy, and prepare any necessary client documentation.
  • Conduct fund research and analysis to support Financial Planner recommendations.
  • Maintain and update suitability report templates to ensure compliance with regulatory and tax year changes.
  • Manage a library of suitability report templates and conduct due diligence research on funds, providers, and platforms.
  • Prepare and communicate monthly Cumulative return tables to Financial Planners and Team Leaders.
