The incoming Lease Advisory Surveyor will be responsible for negotiating rent reviews, lease renewals, lease regears, and providing strategic advice. Key duties include:
- Supporting the expanding team and clients.
- Networking.
- Preparing renewals, rent review negotiations, and summarising leases.
- Inspecting and measuring building premises, mainly covering the Southwest.
- Comparing evidence.
- Negotiating with landlords and their agents.
- Preparing settlement reports and terms.
- Instructing solicitors through the legal process.
- Supporting senior colleagues.
- Assisting in business development preparation.
The Lease Advisory Surveyor
The ideal Lease Advisory Surveyor will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Previous experience in a Surveyor or Lease Advisory role is highly desirable
- Ideally MRICS or currently working towards
- The ability to efficiently manage your own workload with minimum supervision
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Packages
- Clean driving licence and own car
