Are you a mechanical engineer with hydraulics knowledge? Do you have experience supervising a team within a manufacturing or service engineering environment? Are you interested in joining an award-winning engineering company in Falmouth, that will pay for advanced training courses in hydraulic systems, as well as supporting your continuous professional development?

Due to continued growth and the securing of major contracts, my client is looking to hire a branch manager to lead their small team of engineers in Falmouth. This is a brand-new site and the branch manager will be instrumental in overseeing the growth of the new facility.

The team will be responsible for building, maintaining and installing bespoke equipment and machinery in their purpose-built engineering facility in Falmouth. You will be working with high profile clients across some of the most exciting engineering sectors such Marine, Aerospace, Automotive and Nuclear.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales and quotations, whilst planning and coordinating the workload, in order to ensure the team is producing the maximum productivity possible. You will be driving performance, as well as training staff and managing the day to day running of the branch. Additionally, you will help the engineers with hydraulics engineering and be hands on when required.

The Role:

  • Managing a small team of engineers who are responsible for servicing specialist equipment and machinery
  • Working with clients predominantly in the Marine sector however, you will also work with other customers in Aerospace, Automotive and Nuclear
  • Full training and development provided on the their products

The Candidate:

  • Experience managing a team in a manufacturing or service / maintenance engineering environment
  • Experienced Mechanical Engineer - Essential
  • Previous experience working with hydraulics - Essential
