**Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students studying Mechanical Engineering up to Level 3. This role requires a passionate educator with a commitment to student success and a deep understanding of the mechanical engineering field.
**Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Instruction:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in Mechanical Engineering to students up to Level 3 standard.

Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments to ensure they meet curriculum and industry standards.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Student Support and Development:

Provide academic support and guidance to students, helping them to achieve their educational goals.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to improve performance.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Curriculum Development:

Collaborate with colleagues to review and enhance the Mechanical Engineering curriculum.

**Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.

A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).

Experience teaching Mechanical Engineering at the FE level or equivalent.

Desirable:

Higher-level qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree).

Experience in curriculum development and assessment design.
