**Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students studying Mechanical Engineering up to Level 3. This role requires a passionate educator with a commitment to student success and a deep understanding of the mechanical engineering field.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Instruction:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in Mechanical Engineering to students up to Level 3 standard.

  • Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments to ensure they meet curriculum and industry standards.

  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

  • Student Support and Development:

  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, helping them to achieve their educational goals.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to improve performance.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

  • Curriculum Development:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to review and enhance the Mechanical Engineering curriculum.

  • Ensure that course content reflects current industry practices and technological advancements.

**Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).

  • Experience teaching Mechanical Engineering at the FE level or equivalent.

  • Desirable:

  • Higher-level qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree).

  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment design.

  • Familiarity with the latest educational technologies and teaching methodologies.
