Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking passionate Learning Support Assistants for a variety of day-to-day and long term positions within schools across Hampshire.

Position Overview:

Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant, you will be instrumental in nurturing the learning and development of primary school students. Collaborating closely with teachers, you will help create an inclusive and engaging educational environment, offering personalized support to students with diverse needs. This role provides a unique opportunity to positively impact young learners' academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Lesson Delivery: Assist teachers in presenting engaging lessons and activities.
  • Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one assistance to students with special educational needs or general academic support.
  • Positive Environment: Foster a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
  • Skill Development: Help students acquire essential skills and knowledge across various subjects.
  • Classroom Management: Aid in managing classroom behaviour and organization.
  • Collaboration: Work with teachers and staff to address individual student needs.
  • Extracurricular Support: Assist students during breaks and extracurricular activities.
  • Safety and Organization: Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.

To be considered for these roles you must:

  • Have previous experience within a regulated setting, education experience desired.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young learners.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively as a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant qualifications or experience.

The salary for these roles are set between £12.63-15 per hour, depending on experience.
