We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to join our Apprenticeships team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new sources of income and developing growth across the college's apprenticeship and other educational programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong focus on sustainable growth and employer engagement.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Generate new business opportunities and engage with employers to secure new contracts.
  • Use social media platforms to effectively market courses offered within the college.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to a diverse audience to promote our educational offerings.
  • Support employers with apprenticeship recruitment and ensure audit compliance.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Degree or professional qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven success in a sales environment with a full understanding of the sales process.
  • Experience in a similar role within an education or training organisation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience of using a CRM system and producing reports.
  • Confident negotiator with the ability to close deals.
  • Ability to understand the college's curriculum and apply this knowledge to meet employer needs.
  • Must be well organised, proactive, and self-motivated with a ‘Can Do' attitude.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and diversity.
  • Own car insured for business use.
