Job Purpose:

You will help us install various renewable systems on different types of properties, as well as carry out O&M servicing and repairs on existing Solar PV arrays.

You will be responsible for upholding quality electrical installations in line with manufacturers and TLGEC standards, pre-planning and troubleshooting while on-site is key to ensuring projects are achieved in a timely fashion and meet our client's expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Install renewable components of solar electric PV systems, battery storage and EV's.
  • Ensure all work undertaken is safe and that it complies with current regulations.
  • Ensure installations are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to a high standard.
  • Assist and work as a team with PV Roofers, when required.
  • Ensure H&S compliance in line with both corporate and legal obligations.
  • Ensure technical knowledge is continually kept current via both company and self-driven training.
  • Ensures project documents are complete and current.
  • Provision of timely and accurate reporting as directed.
  • Effectively apply TLGEC methodology and adhere to site standards.
  • Identification of project resources and works with materials efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensures that understanding of TLGEC methodology, RAMS and other required site/project documentation is kept current and relevant.

Required Qualifications:

  • Full, clean driving licence

Desirable Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds/NVQ Trade Qualified or equivalent, demonstrable experience.
  • CSCS/ECS (Gold Card)
  • SSSTS - SMSTS
  • BS7671 - 18th Edition
  • Harness Training
  • Telehandler/scissor lift / FLT Licence
  • Approved renewable installer
  • BPEC Solar Installer Qualified + Battery Storage
  • Level 3 Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings | City & Guilds 2393-10
