Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum + Eligibility for a bonus after the probationary period
Type: Full-Time, Fully Office-Based
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately estimate costs and prepare detailed proposals for steel fabrication projects.
- Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure comprehensive and precise project bids.
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to develop competitive and realistic bids.
- Maintain and update a database of costs, materials, and labor for accurate future estimates.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain necessary information for project estimation.
- Monitor and track project costs to ensure alignment with estimated budgets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction, marine, or engineering sectors, with a focus on steel fabrication projects.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and estimation tools.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
