Salary: £41,037 - £51,565 + Company Car/Allowance + London Allowance (where applicable).
Location: Central/South Region with regular travel. Overnight stays will be essential.
This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract
At E.O we are leading the energy transition towards net zero. Solutions installation is the key first step to meeting our targets and creating a more sustainable energy future for everybody. As an Air Source Heat Pump Field Auditor, you will play a key role in our journey as a part of the Quality and Standards Field Audit Team. You will audit the technical ability and competency of field operational staff across all Low carbon Solutions activities by assessing the Heating & Gas compliance function.
You'll play a key role in ensuring that all our field Net Zero Installers are compliant and working to our Codes of Practice, Safe Working Methods and Operating Procedures, and all relevant industry regulations (Ofgem, HSE, MCS etc.) and standards are being consistently met.
Part of your role will also involve the continuous mentoring, coaching and supporting the development of field staff in safe working procedures, best practice and safety processes.
OtherResponsibilities include -
- Support and advise Field Line Managers of any issues, training or other requirements needed to be implement in their teams.
- Ensuring Work In Progress (WIP) & Post Inspections audits for field visits and desktop audits are completed
- Provide technical support to the operations team.
- Lead with audits including Gas Safe, MCS, ISO, ensuring all Net Zero installs comply with these regulations.
- To communicate and share Best Practice issues at Quality and Standards team meetings and local field team briefs.
- Ensure half yearly audit performance is met and maintain a weekly performance logs.
- Assess field staff completing Permit to Operate (PTO) where required to do so.
What we need from you
Essential
- Possess Domestic ACS Certification - CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
- Level 3 Award in Air Source Heat Pump Systems.
- Unvented G3 Certification.
- NEBOSH General Certificate/IOSH Qualification desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety at work Act 1974 and Management of Health and Safety At Work 1999.
- Extensive knowledge of Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure and corrective action process and Gas Industry (Installation & Use) Regulations- amendment 2018.
- Ability to interpret specifications/pre-contract information, ensuring that gas compliance specific information is reported to colleagues to assist with effective decision-making process.
- Previous experience of dealing with Audits (Gas Safe/ISO/MCSs etc.), including taking the lead on preparation and completion of outstanding actions post audit.
- A full valid UK/EU driving licence
