The key responsibilities of a Interim Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;
- Manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Supervise finance team members and oversee their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other department managers to identify financial opportunities and risks.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors.
- Coordinate audits and ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Develop financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the senior management level.
Profile
A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:
- A relevant degree in finance or accounting.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Not For Profit and Charities sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to commute to Blackburn.
- High level of proficiency in finance software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
