We're seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an exceptional special needs school in Deal, supporting students aged 2-19 with complex learning needs. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality education and care.
Main Duties:
- Provide assistance to students with profound and complex learning difficulties, including ASD, in both learning and daily activities.
- Support students with personal care tasks, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to help implement personalized education plans (EHCPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment where students can grow and achieve their full potential.

What You'll Need:
- Willingness to travel an hour for work.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEND) is preferred.
- Willing to assist with personal care tasks, including toileting and feeding.
- Strong communication skills and a caring, adaptable nature.
- Flexibility, patience, and a positive mindset.
- Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and clearances.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (child workforce) or be willing to apply for one.
