Our client based in Mansfield is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Description, Process Engineer

  • Assist in sustaining maximum quality and on time delivery by ensuring manufacturing processes are appropriate, available, and documented accordingly.
  • Develop prototypes and compile relevant documentation.
  • Ensure all new processes and production improvement initiatives are sustained.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement activity.
  • Take ownership in the development and investigation for process control and evaluation where appropriate.
  • Take ownership in completing corrective action reports for customer rejects.
  • Develop the departmental awareness of quality and the cost of poor quality to the organisation.
  • Sustain 5s principles.
  • Working with production engineering regarding the requirements for jigs/fixtures and the way these are designed
  • Recommend and work with design to suggest improvements to help with building the products.
  • Attended daily cell and MRB meetings.

Ideal Candidate, Process Engineer

  • Need to come from an electronic background
  • Need to understand, looming, crimping, and wiring
  • Working from Interpret technical drawings
