My client, Chemical Engineering business, are looking for Lead Project Consultant for an initial 8 Month Contract.
The role is Remote with some required need to be onsite in Manchester 2-3 per month. The Day Rate is yet to be defined but we're looking around the £700 P/D mark OUTSIDE of IR35. Below is breakdown of the role and some of the skills that the client require.
The Technology Project Lead role is a senior contract position with a key role in the setup and running of the Chemicals and Materials R&D Unit for a new facility in Manchester. This is a new area of business for the client and the focus is on providing consulting services for pharma and chemicals manufacturing facilities (setup or overhaul), research and development logistics, and providing outsourced production facilities for the Pharma and chemical markets.
This role will thus have extensive exposure to the development and operation of production facilities. As a shared facility our R&D will handle a multitude of projects and client requirements on an ongoing basis thus making this a very busy role with a much-required hands-on approach.
- Experience 5 + years management experience in biotech or Pharmaceutical industry, preferably with some years experience in Technical Development as well as managing Implementation of R&D Projects.
- 5+ years of professional IT experience running high performing environments in multiple technical and business domains
- Good knowledge of system validation process
- Good knowledge of change control process
- Project Management Professional certification a plus Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, specifically in the Research, Clinical, Biometrics and Quality functional
- Ability to work collaboratively for overall project objectives; successful partnering with internal and external stakeholders; clearly define expectations, roles and responsibilities and facilitate cross-functional stakeholders in support of project deliverable
- Demonstrated project management skills - able to effectively plan and manage complex projects; quickly identifies real or potential issues, seek practical solutions and escalate appropriatel
- IT and business knowledge to manage IT delivery processes end-to-end
- Ability to bridge functional requirements with IT solution components
