As part of continuedlong-term digital transformation they are looking to grow their permanenttechnology team. They have an immediaterequirement for a Software Engineer to join their Digital Services team whichcurrently numbers nearly 200 staff.
You will have an opportunity to work on a wide rangeof modern technologies and tools;
- Java/Python
- JavaScript,Typescript
- React,NextJS
- Oracle, Informix, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, MongoDB, RDS, Aurora
- CI/CD: Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker
- Deployment Environments: Virtual Machines, OpenShift, AWSserverless
- IaC: Ansible, CloudFormation, CDK
- AWS, Azure
The teamsalso consist of Agile Delivery Leads, Product Managers and User ExperienceDesigners to form modern, full stack, high performing teams.
You will haveprofessional software engineering experience and be able to demonstrate thefollowing skills:
- developsoftware to meet user needs.
- followbest practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines.
- writeclean, secure, and well-tested code.
- coachand mentor more junior colleagues
- operatethe services you build and identify issues in production.
