Job Description:
Randstad Birmingham Office is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter for a dynamic and fast-paced refurbishment project located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy site and contribute to a high-profile project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing various carpentry tasks including framing, installing doors, windows, and fixtures
- Constructing and repairing building frameworks and structures
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensuring all work is performed to a high standard and within set timelines
- Collaborating with other trades on site to ensure smooth project progression
- Adhering to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Must possess a Blue Skilled CSCS Card
- Proven experience as a carpenter on busy construction sites
- Must have own tools
- Ability to provide valid and recent references
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
