We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Associate to join our client's leading UK Top 100 law firm. Based in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle, our client serves a diverse range of local, national, and international clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with a wide range of corporate transactions including sales, purchases, debt and equity fundraisings, and investments.
  • Collaborate effectively with your corporate colleagues to manage transactional workloads.
  • Take instructions from clients and draught documents tailored to their individual needs, keeping up with current laws and practises.
  • Negotiate with clients and other professionals to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Attend meetings and negotiations with clients and third parties.
  • Deliver a high-quality legal service to clients, in line with the firm's Quality Standards and SRA requirements.
  • Coordinate with other specialist colleagues within the organisation to ensure successful transactions.
  • Support the development of new and existing client business through networking and training delivery.
  • Provide supervision and delegate work to trainee solicitors, paralegals, and legal secretaries when necessary.
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the law and market practises.
  • Undertake ongoing professional development activities and deliver training sessions to clients.

Key Attributes:

  • Possess c. 4 years of post-qualification experience in completing corporate transactional work within a corporate team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
  • Able to work effectively within time constraints set by clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates sound judgement and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Efficient in diary and administration management, including time recording.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Confident in delivering engaging presentations.
